Mechanical Engineer

A mechanical engineering position with a leading engineering design house specialising in building services. With over 280 staff across six offices in Australia and recent expansion into a global employee-owned group operating in 40+ countries, this is a strong opportunity to join a growing and collaborative team. The role covers mechanical engineering design for building projects across commercial, multi-residential, and mixed-use developments. You'll be responsible for engineering calculations including cooling loads, duct sizing, fan sizing, plant and equipment layouts, and control schematics, producing documentation and drawings using AutoCAD and 3D CAD software, preparing technical specifications, single line diagrams, and contract documents, and coordinating design across disciplines including structural, hydraulic, and architectural consultants. This is a hands-on design role with the opportunity to lead multi-discipline projects requiring direct client interface and coordination of internal team deliverables.
